We all have a monster inside of us. There is no doubt about that. The thing about Frankenstein is that he was the monster. He couldn't change that fact. The monster and his creator, Victor Frankenstein, both had a void in their life that needed to be filled. Victor's was to create life, and the monster's was to find love, and have a partner in life. I believe the monstrosity started when both of their needs weren't met. Although Victor successfully created life, he was not satisfied with the final product. It was hideous and looked like a threat to all of human life. The monster became a real monster when he didn't get what he wanted, kind of like a child. This was a much more extreme case, though. There are always things that set us off and bring out the monster inside of us. But how far do we have to go to bring out the biggest monster of all?
